First of all, thank you for dropping by my little space in the world. I hope you can get comfy and stay for a while as I share pieces of my life and how I see the world from behind my lens.
I am a natural light photographer located in Southern Kansas, where I reside with my husband and three children. I love lifestyle {storytelling} photography, so, naturally, my work revolves around these four, but I can't help shooting a great Kansas sunset, changing leaves, or even the messes that help add to the story that we're telling. My favorite images are those that are caught candidly and are showing real life, and how I want to remember these quickly fleeting moments.
I think you'll find out more about me through my images, but here is a bit of me to get acquainted. I love road trips, and traveling to places I've never been, cooking and trying new recipes (if you have any great Indian dishes, send them my way!), coffee, music of almost all genres, sitting on the porch swing listening to the cicadas on summer evenings, and pumpkin anything. I was a labor and delivery nurse for several years before deciding to stay at home with my little ones. We now live on a little plot of land where we garden, have poultry, do some beekeeping, and enjoy the learning process of all of the above.
Photography has always been something I have enjoyed, and I find myself growing and learning every day. I fall more in love with it and what it does not only for preserving memories, but how it has opened my eyes to the beauty around me. I hope you can find some beauty here as well.
